Healthy Recipe: Skin Glow Green Breakfast Smoothie
A couple of months ago, I tried out a simple recipe for a green shake with 3 targets in mind: Fill up my stomach with a super healthy breakfast, ensure I take my minimum green intake per day and off course, lose weight. What I did not expect is for the recipe to have this super impact on my skin!
After 3 days into drinking my Green Smoothie for breakfast, I started noticing that my skin was super clear and glowing like never before! So here I am sharing with you today the secret to Skin Glow that starts from within.
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup unsweetened Almond or Coconut Milk
- A Handful of baby spinach
- 1/2 Banana
- 1/2 Cup Low Fat Yogurt (Dont use Skimmed Yogurt)
- Honey
Directions:
- Put Almond milk, spinach into a NutriBullet (or any blender) and blend for about one minute and until you dont see any spinach chunks. Then proceed to add everything else and blend until its a thick smoothie!
Calories: Around 170 Calorie. Together with a nice small cup of low fat latte/tea, you'll have a nice healthy breakfast of 200-220 calories.
